We lit shit on fire and drank ourselfs almost to death! But we survived and are still around to talk about it.

| Just incase any of you out there haven’t heard or seen this yet. This is total and utter bull shit! I am in no way racist and if I am considered one I think you all know that I am the most critical against white people! But this is way way too far and frankly I think most people agree. Here is the article if you care to read it. Crossing out CA and putting Mexico in. Fuck that! Go back to Mexico if you feel that way don’t come here and if you do make sure its legal. My parents came here legally, fuck my dad fought in Vietnam for 2 years to earn his citizenship. This just pisses me off!

| So today was just an awesome day. I told Martin that I probably wouldn’t live through the day. Anything that could go right for me today not only went right but made it self better. So I my rims are on their way here. That was the beginning of the good day. Then I get to work and got offered the job. I got hooked up on the pay, got 401K, health, vision, and medical and they are going to pay for all my school. I mean all of it. Like I got a $10,000 ride with this job! Not only that but Steve got the other spot so it’s even better. So yea my day is going great. Dave and Bryan call me up and they are in the area so we go get food, had the HAT! I was telling Dave and Bryan about getting kicked out of the movies for drinking beer and being to loud not to mention drunk and I was telling a good story (cursing a lot) and this guy with his family asked me to watch my language. WTF, oh well we kept busting up every time we looked over there. I get back from the Hat I go inside and get a call that my friend found a buyer for my tail lights so yea that’s some money. I later get a call that I am getting another huge hook up and saving some money on my rims. I was already getting a good deal and he made it even better! I then talk to Ed and he hooked it up I went from 6 months no interest on my laptop to 12 and got an extra $150 back so now its like under $1000's for a $1800 laptop not to mention my service only cost $200 for 3 years. Then when I get home I have a whole bunch of people asking about the car parts I have for sale! Man what an awesome day. TEAM JD! | | |
| Well its been a week now since I bought my last little toy. I am soo happy that I got my Vaio. I am now not bothering Bryans computer and I also have a way to keep myself orgazied in class now. It was a steal, Best Buy actually had a really good offer that no one could pass up. So I bought my little Vaio. 4.2 pounds. Centrino, 80 gig HD and 2 batteries, so far they are lasting about 5-5 1/2 hours. I know love my 19 inch LCD its a huge jump going from a 13.3 to a 19. Heres some photos!

| Well I just got back from the one of the craziest weekends. Steve and I went to Yosemite for a GIS conference. We drove over 400 miles in less than 7 hours. Well I can’t say I actually drove, I had the hardest job of telling Steve what freeways to take and what exits to look for (JK!) I have been up the coast and to Yellowstone in the last year but this was the first time in almost 10 years that I had been up through the Fresno area. Once again I was shocked, Fresno is worse than Riverside could ever be. The city was really ghettoed out which was a different site to see especially since I am so used to Riverside. This shock was echoed the whole trip as the more we drove the only scenery that popped up were crops and the bugs that hit the windows. So cal is a different place and I am not trying to get into the whole So cal is better than Nor cal. The ways of life for the two people are different; up there life really does move at a slower pace. Well enough of that, as we entered the park within the first 20 minutes of being there we were pulled over. The officer said that Steve was speeding, going over the double yellows, and not using his turn signal. After she told us why she had pulled us over (we were the only two cars on the road being it was 12pm) she asked driver when was the last time you had a drink. I couldn’t hold back, I started busting up laughing and even Steve couldn’t resist and with a huge smile on his face he told her it had been almost a week but he planed to change that in the next 15 minutes. So after the long chat with the officer which turned out to be fine because we told her nicely that it was bull shit reasons for pulling us over. There were no double yellows and we were only 4-5 mph over the speed limit and not only that we weren’t sure where we were going and were forced to make a right due to the apparent road close sure ahead of us. She let us off with a warning and we proceeded to set up camp. On Friday I got my ass handed to me. I am in no way out of shape Steve and I proved that we are in awesome shape climbing 1400 foot elevation gain and hiking over 12 miles in less than 4 hours. I got my ass kicked because I hadn’t worn my Wolverine boots in almost a year and they gave me huge blisters on the back on my heels. They got so bad that they actually started to bleed. These suckers kicked in about 1/4 through the hike but I kept my mouth shut because no one likes to hear someone complain. We had some Southern comfort and Dr. Pepper later Friday night and hung out with some of Steve’s class mates. The next morning we left and drove all the way to Fresno to the only good thing that exists there BJ'S! We had a beer and pasta the best dinner of the whole trip even though the GIS BBQ did suck they served Coronas there and we had a lot. Free BEER!
A nice picture of the river.

Another awesome shot.

A calm little stream

These steps are what kicked my ass they are steep!
